How to Schedule Emails to Send Later in Outlook

  4. Click Delay Delivery (in the “More Options” section).
  5. Under Delivery Options, check the box for “Do not deliver before”.
  6. Select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  7. Click Close, then click Send.

Your email will stay in the Outbox until the scheduled time.

📌 How to Edit or Cancel a Scheduled Email

If you need to change or delete a scheduled email, follow these steps:

Windows & Mac:

  1. Go to the Outbox (where scheduled emails are stored).
  2. Double-click the email to open it.
  3. Edit the message or change the delivery time in the “Delay Delivery” settings.
  4. Click Send again to reschedule.
  5. To cancel, simply delete the email from the Outbox.

Outlook Web:

  1. Click Outbox in the left-hand menu.
  2. Open the scheduled email and click Cancel Send.

Once canceled, you can edit and re-send or discard the email.
