Remove or Disable Email Signature in Outlook (Windows)

Option 1: Remove Signature from a Single Email

1. Open a New Email in Outlook.
2. Click Signature in the ribbon → select Signatures…
3. Under Choose default signature, set New messages and Replies/Forwards to (none).
4. Click OK.
   ✅ This disables the automatic insertion of your signature for all new messages.

Alternatively, just highlight the signature text in the compose window and press Delete to remove it from a single email without changing your settings.

Option 2: Delete the Signature Permanently (Windows)

1. Click File → Options → Mail → Signatures.
2. Select the signature you want to remove.
3. Click Delete.
4. Click OK.
   ✅ The signature is permanently removed from Outlook.

1. Click Outlook in the menu bar → Settings.
2. Go to Mail → Signatures.

Android

1. Open Outlook on Android.
2. Tap your profile icon → Settings (gear).
3. Tap Signature.
4. Toggle off or clear the signature text.
5. Tap ✓ (checkmark) to save.
   ✅ Your Android Outlook signature is removed.
