Ever wanted to write an email now but send it later? With Outlook, you can easily schedule emails to send later — ensuring your messages are delivered at the perfect time.
This feature is ideal for:

✔ Scheduling reminders or follow-ups

How to Schedule an Email in Outlook (Windows)
- Open Outlook and click New Email.
- Write your message — include recipients, subject, and body.
- Click Options in the toolbar.
- Click Delay Delivery under the More Options section.
- In Delivery Options, check Do not deliver before.
- Select your preferred date and time.
- Click Close, then click Send.
✅ Your email will remain in your Outbox until the scheduled delivery time.
How to Schedule an Email in Outlook (Mac)
- Open Outlook and click New Email.
- Compose your message.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to the Send button.
- Select Send Later.
- Choose the date and time for delivery.
- Click Send — Outlook will automatically send it at the scheduled time.

- Go to Outlook Web App.

How to Edit or Cancel a Scheduled Email
Windows & Mac
- Open the Outbox folder.
- Double-click the scheduled email to open it.
- To edit or reschedule:
- Modify the message
- Adjust the delivery time in Delay Delivery
- Click Send again to save changes
- To cancel, delete the email from your Outbox.
Outlook Web
- Open the Outbox from the left menu.
- Click the scheduled message → Cancel Send.
